One common trait among most successful students is their involvement in extracurricular activities. It builds self-esteem, social skills, and increases their enjoyment of school.  CWMS offers a wide selection of programs to spark your child's interest. Some of the activities offered are shown below.

Our after-school program is open to all students who elect to participate, as the program has a no‑cut policy. As there is no state or district funding for these programs, we rely solely on your donations in order to offer our students these opportunities. We ask for $30 per sport, a tax‑deductible donation, during the sign-up period, to have your child participate. This will cover sports equipment, coaches, subs and other fees. The estimated cost of all our enrichment activities each year averages about $12,000. A student can participate in as many of the After‑School Activities as he or she wishes to experience.

If you have any questions regarding the After‑School Activities program, please contact Julie Mignano. You and your child can obtain a calendar of After‑School Activities or find out about upcoming programs the following ways:

  • The school website by selecting Athletics along the top of the website (all documents for student participation can be acquired on the website, including parent permission forms, etc.).
  • Announced during lunch for sign‑ups. This begins usually one month before the start of the season.
  • Published in the Charger Weekly or announced in the Daily Bulletin at school each morning.

We want the After‑School Activities experience to be a positive one for you, as well as for your child.
