Charlotte Wood Middle School

This year we are excited to offer the 8th grade year end trip to Boomers in Livermore on Thursday, May 20, 2027!  This is a fun day for our students after all of their hard work these past years.  Students will start and end school at their regular time (8:15 am - 2:45 pm).

 

Signed Permission Slips and Code of Conduct forms are due in the Counseling Office no later than Friday, March 19, 2027. The requested amount for student participation is $100 which includes transportation, park admission and lunch. 

 

No student will be denied participation due to donation status and all 8th grade students will be invited to attend the end of year celebratory trip.  Please note, if enough money is not collected to cover the cost of the trip, the trip may be cancelled.

 

Requested Amount:  $100 (may be paid by check payable to CWMS or through the CWMS Student Store)

The CWMS Promotion Party hosted by the PTA will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 on the CWMS campus from 5:00-7:00 pm.

 

 

 

Promotion practice will be held on the CWMS campus on June 3, 2027 (minimum day schedule).  CWMS PTA will host a light breakfast for students. Any parents wishing to volunteer can contact PTA (name and email TBD).

 

Promotion Ceremony: Thursday, June 4, 2026

Promotion ceremony will be held at SRVHS stadium starting at 6:00 p.m. Students should arrive by 5:30 pm to line up. Boys should wear nice pants and a nice shirt. For girls, a dress, skirt, nice pants are appropriate. Spiked heels are prohibited due to the nature of the artificial turf and bleachers.
